KOKRAJHAR, FEB 27: President of United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) and Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) chief executive member (CEM) Pramod Boro has welcomed announcement of Assam assembly election’s dates with three phases beginning from 27th March for 126 constituencies in the state of Assam.
On Saturday in Kokrajhar, Boro said that his party is fully prepared to contest the general elections with alliance with BJP party across the state.
He said that his party is announcing the candidate’s names in phase manner within the short span of days.
He said that his party has prepared a deep political strategy for participating the assembly elections and assessing several constituencies along the adjoining constituencies which are nearby part of BTR areas in its integrity for putting party’s candidates.
He informed that UPPL party is taking deep decision to put it’s own candidates in several constituencies which are included Gauripur, West Bilashipara, East Bilashipara, Sorbhog, Bhawanipur etc.
Boro said that his party is totally ready to contest the Assam assembly elections and common masses are wanting parivartan and massive welfare to meet better administration in the region.
He has expressed his hopeful that UPPL-BJP alliance parties are winning majority seats in the assembly elections to form the state government.
He said that UPPL party is organising core committee’s meeting of the party within few days where party is taking decision for preparing candidate’s nomination for the assembly elections.
He has opined that UPPL led coalition government is paving the community happiness environment through the better administration.
“This time, peoples from all sections of communities in the BTR areas are fully ready to participate in the assembly elections to elect good public representative. UPPL party is getting massive support among the society for paving the better administrator and community happiness”, Boro added.
UPPL chief Boro has also addressed a party meeting at Habrubari in Kokrajhar town which was the first public meeting of the party post declaration of election date.
Meanwhile, Rajya Sabah MP and BJP leader Biswajit Daimary has also hailed the Assam assembly election’s dates annoucement, said that the assembly elections would be held in three phases across the state before the festive Rongali Bihu.
He has expressed his hopeful that his saffron party is retaining the state for straight second term with winning majority seats.
He has claimed that BJP party has been emphasizing better welfare and development services across the state.
On the other hand, BTR CEM Pramod Boro offered his prayer and worship to almighty Brahma Devota at Habrubari Brahma Mandir today in Kokrajhar.
He visited at the Brahma Mandir where he offered his prayers and worship seeking blessing to meet healthy welfare and unity and tranquility among the society.
Earlier in the morning, Boro ordered his prayer and worship to Sri Sri Mahamaya Shakti Devi at Mahamaya Mandir, Bagribari in Kokrajhar district.
