UPPL Condemns The Remarks Of BPF Leader Prahlad Brahma On APJ Abdul Kalam, Vajpayee

KOKRAJHAR,FEB 11: The ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) has condemned the remarks of BPF leader Prahlad Brahma’s remarks on former president of India and Bharat Ratna Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, former Prime Minister of India and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee and prime minister Narendra Modi and demanded immediately arrest and punishment of BPF leader Prahlad Brahma.

Addressing the reporters today at a press conference held at UPPL party office in Kokrajhar, BTR executive member and UPPL spokesperson Ranjit Basumatary has strongly reacted over the speeches of Prahlad Brahma who has made unnecessary remarks on Abdul Kalam and Vajpayee.

The UPPL party leader demanded a strict punishment of BPF leader Prahlad Brahma for his unwanted and unacceptable remarks on Bharat Ratna Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

He has vehement condemned the speeches of Brahma made on ex president of India and Bharat Ratna Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and ex prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

” The speeches of Brahma has made shame for the Bodo society as he had made unconstitutional remarks”, UPPL leader said.

He said that the UPPL led UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance government in BTR is working for the welfare and development for all sections of the society since it’s inception in the government.

He has reacted to the remarks of ex minister Pramila Rani Brahma for her remarks that put before the media persons over Bodoland martyrs respect on Thursday during the BTC accord day celebration, said that Pramila Rani Brahma’s remarks was unfortunate and unwanted for the society.

He said that UPPL party and BTR government always paying respect to the Bodoland martyrs through whom today Bodos reached in this juncture.

He has come down heavily on ex minister Pramila Rani Brahma, sought that the BPF senior leader and ex minister Brahma must apologize over the remarks on Bodoland martyrs cemetery ground.

He has slammed the BPF chief Hagrama Mohilary for his remarks over the celebration of BTC accord on 10th February, which was regarded as second Bodo peace accord in the state.

Basumatary has made a questioned on BPF party leaders that if BPF party celebrates the BTC accord day every year, then why not celebrating the BAC (Bodoland Autonomous Council) accord day on 20th February.

He has accused that the BPF party never think welfare and development of the common masses in the region.

Basumatary said that the BTR government is taking strong interest towards the integration as well uplift of the citizens with dedicated spirit.

He said that BPF and Hagrama Mohilary didn’t worked towards the integration environment.

He said that Mohilary was never thought welfare of the citizens and always conspiracy for creating chaotic feeling among the society.

He  has accused that BPF party and Mohilary had perpetrated huge corruptions across the BTC government in their 17 year ruled in BTC government

Meanwhile, the Kokrajhar district committee of  Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) strongly condemned the speeches of Prahlad Brahma and demanded immediate arrest of Brahma.

Assam state BJP executive member and former president of Kokrajhar district committee BJP party Bibhuti Borgoyary reacted strongly against the remarks of BPF leader Prahlad Brahma on Bharat Ratna Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Bajpayee and present prime minister Narendra Modi.

He has demanded immediate arrest of BPF leader Prahlad Brahma and punishment.
