UPPL Party Condemns The Dholmara Incident


KOKRAJHAR, JUN 20:  The United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) of Kokrajhar district committee has strongly condemned the vandalisation of running water tapes and ventilators inside the Dholmara Mosjid complex in Kokrajhar district.

An eight member delegation team of ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) party of Kokrajhar district committee and district committee of UPPL youth wing  led by it’s general secretary (organisation) Amulya Sutradhar visited at the Dholmara Mosjid to take stock about the vandalisation (partially) of running water tapes and ventilators inside the Dholmara Jame mosjid in Kokrajhar district.

Notably, a group of 5-7 member’s unknown miscreants vandalised the running water tapes ( partially) and ventilators of the mosjid early this morning around 3 am which has brought a condemnation from various organisations across the region.

Police rushed the spot and started it’s investigation into the incident.

A strict security vigil has been made along the Dholmara area after the incident.

The Kokrajhar district committee of UPPL party strongly condemned the incident and demanded immediate identification of the involved culprits.

The UPPL delegation team met the caretaker of the mosjid and local peoples in the Dholmara.

General secretary of the Kokrajhar district committee of UPPL, Amulya Sutradhar while expressing serious concern over the vandalisation of water tapes and ventilators along the mosjid, said that it was unfortunate incident for the society. He has condemned the incident and demanded strict investigation into the incident and urged the district administration to nab the involved culprits.

He said that the anti social activities was perpetrated by anti social elements who are trying to create chaostic environment among the society.

He has made an appealed to all sections of the communities to come forward united and stand unitedly against the anti social activities across the region.

Meanwhile,a peace meeting involving all sections of society was held at Dholmara bazar today in Kokrajhar district.

The meeting was convened by Kokrajhar district administration and attended by citizens from different community’s representatives from the area.

The district administration urged the society to maintain peace and tranquility among the society for prevailing healthy integration.
