UPSC/APSC Special Orientation Programme From June 25


KOKRAJHAR, JUN 21: The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) over the years has been working for the quality education, career building and generating skilled human resource across Assam especially wherever Bodo students exist.

However, continuing the mission skill and quality education programme to see the high ends of achievements from the Bodo youths of the state and to excel at the highest level of achievements.

Addressing the reporters today at a press conference held at Kokrajhar Press Club premises, ABSU vice president Khwrwmdao Wary informed that at present for India’s highest level officers selected through the civil services examination by UPSC and at state level by APSC there are only few from the Bodo community who had achieved with their hard work.

” Time and again, the students union has been trying to create awareness amongst the interested graduates since many years, however many aspirants till today are trying for civil services yet very few can even crack the preliminary exams. There are some reasons that our youths from the region are finding more difficult to take up all the challenges to crack the civil services examinations,” he said adding the at present the ABSU has taken special orientation programme for civil services for 6 days at six different locations across the state, starting from 25th June at Kokrajhar, 26th June at Bijni, 27th June at Mushalpur, 28th June at Udalguri, 29th June Tezpur and 30th June at Guwahati.

The inaugural orientation will be inaugurated by Hiren Nath, additional DGP (SB) Assam and many guest speakers will attend the event.

In the ensuing event the aspirants can register for free to participate at the special orientation programme, where the faculty from BEACON IAS institute New Delhi and existing civil servants will be present to orient the interested candidates.

He urge all the degree students any graduates to attend the program to get more knowledge on how to prepare for civil services and crack it one day.

” We want more civil servants from the Bodos to serve the nation in the advancement of governance for development”, Wary added.
